Rock Cycle

Here is a link to a Brainpop on Hurricanes. Typhoons and hurricanes are pretty much the same phenomenon. They're called different names depending on what part of the world you're referrring to.

Severe typhoon in the Phillipines

One of the largest storms to ever make landfall reached the Phillipines. We can sympathize with the Phillipine people in light of our own experiences with Hurricane Sandy. I've posted a link to CBS News for you.
